DOT x sotsu: vlf (RO) x Milovan Stojanović/ 14 Dec
Having spent the past few years hosting events and supporting acts across China, Russia and Kazakhstan, Sotsu is proud to announce its hometown launch party in Belgrade’s renowned DOT nightclub.
Hitting the decks – and the club's newly installed Funktion One sound system – will be bipolar resident vlf, supported by local talent Milovan Stojanovic.
Valentin Florea, better known as Vlf (Very Low Frequency), is a DJ and producer who, in his name alone represents the low, accentuated and suppressed frequencies common to the micro house sound he nourishes. Performing with the biggest names in Rominimal, Vlf is considered a rising talent across the scene. He is a resident of Bipolar House, one of the pioneering underground platforms in Bucharest and recently signed to ‘Conceptual Records’ and ‘Vandalism Musique’ labels.
Constantly searching and digging for a new and authentic sound, Belgrade born DJ and producer Milovan Stojanovic, comes up with deeper shades of techno and micro house. He established himself throughout various Belgrade clubs and festivals such as EXIT and Lovefest and released music for labels such as Brosh and Kanja Records. Sotsu followers from Kazakhstan will warmly remember Milovan’s pioneering performance in Almaty in February 2018.
