MORE ON THE KNOCKS
The prolific NYC electronic music duo, The Knocks, deliver a carefree dance music sound that draws from soul, funk, disco, rap, and pop. Comprised of James "JPatt" Patterson and Ben "B-Roc" Ruttner, the duo have been delivering a dizzying array of danceable, New York inspired music since getting their start several years ago when they remixed Jay-Z's entire "American Gangster" album in 2 days as a funk inspired compilation.
The pair have since released one full length album , several EP's [Magic, The Feeling, Comfortable, TESTIFY], collaborated with some of music's biggest names [Foster The People, Carly Rae Jepsen, X Ambassadors, MNEK] and toured around the world with pop behemoths such as Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, and The 1975. The Knocks most recently released their new single with indie-pop band Foster The People "Ride or Die" and are finishing up their 2nd LP entitled "New York Narcotic".
