Miami for Jose Javier: Fundraiser and Volunteer Kick-Off

Wednesday, 4 Apr 2018 at 6 PM - 9 PM

This November, Miami has the opportunity to send a real fighter to Washington to represent us in Congressional District 27. Democrat Jose Javier Rodriguez is that person.

Jose Javier attended public elementary, middle and high school in District 27 before graduating from Brown University and Harvard Law School with the help of financial aid. He volunteered with the Peace Corps, serving in West Africa for 3 years. He returned to Miami and joined legal services working on wage theft issues and representing families in our community who could not afford representation.

As both State Representative and State Senator, Jose Javier has successfully fought on behalf of our community, as an advocate for gun reform, affordable health care, Everglades restoration, sea level rise planning, public education, the protection of social security and Medicare.

Please join our host committee of young leaders as we move forward to energize our Miami base, mobilize our team and make sure voters get to know this unique public servant, so we can send him to represent us in Washington!

With your $27 suggested donation, you'll receive a complimentary drink ticket for the evening.

Maximum campaign contribution $2700
